Clare (on the left in the above Photo) is the founder and co-owner of Skin-Lab. Clare has a background of Nursing within General Practice in the NHS. Clare trained as a Nurse in Leeds and continued to work within a GP Practice in Leeds for just over 10 years. During her time there Clare gained vast amounts of experience and knowledge, becoming expert in many areas, including Wound care, Diabetes management, Cardiovascular Disease, Sexual Health and Respiratory Disease. Clare then continued her studies and is now trained at Level 7 Masters level, with a Degree in Adult Nursing and a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice. Clare is also a Prescriber. Clare works within the NHS as a Clinical Lead and Advanced Nurse Practitioner for a community based Urgent Care Response Team.  Clare’s  main NHS role is similar to that of a doctor, diagnosing, examining and treating medical conditions.

Clare takes great pride in working alongside clients delivering evidenced based procedures which produce results. Clare will always say no if she feels that a treatment is not the right thing for you.  A treatment plan is always developed in conjunction with the client. Together,  we consider personal circumstances, desired outcomes, timescales, downtime, In addition to giving advice, and of course, affordability. 

Clare is a smiley, warm, bubbly, welcoming and very approaching character who will make you feel at ease throughout your time with SkinLab. 

Kerry, On the right of the above photo, joined the SkinLab Team in November 2022 & is  joint co-owner of SkinLab, alongside Clare.  Kerry qualified a number of years ago with a Degree in Adult Nursing and has a background in Nursing on Intensive Care Units across the UK, and in Australia. During her time working as a nurse on Intensive Care Units, Kerry has cared for some of the sickest of the sick patients. Kerry enjoyed this so much that then she also decided to train as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Qualifying with a Level 7 Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice & Prescribing. Kerry continues to work within the NHS, at Sheffield Teaching hospitals, and after qualifying as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, works at a similar level to the doctors on her unit, Examining, Diagnosing and prescribing for her patients, continuing to medically review and optimise treatment for her patients. Kerry is highly experienced and enjoys a challenge. In 2022, Kerry decided to embark on a new challenge, training in Aesthetics and Skincare & continues her professional development training in other specialised areas such as Skin Booster's, Fat dissolving injections, Lumi eyes, and under eye Mesotherapy. Kerry’s Key area of interest is in injectable treatments.
